Kansas State University

There were 3 major revisions that occurred before the final design was determined.  These are shown below.

Original Rendering of New Test Frame for Kansas State University.  The frame was designed to apply a 500,000-pound load at mid-span of a 50-ft-long test specimen.

Revision #1 of Test Frame for Kansas State University.  The revised frame is has a monorail crane and diagonal braces for increased stiffness.  It is designed to apply a 500,000-pound load at any point along the 18-foot-long top beam.

Revision #2 of Test Frame for Kansas State University.  Similar to Revision #1, this frame has a galvanized metal roof which is being supplied by Vulcraft.  The roof will provide protection for the test equipment and allow work to proceed during light rains.
